No financier named for any Nevis project listed for 2026
The Nevis Island Administration's stated 2026 projects, as published in Premier Mark Brantley's New Year's message of 1 January and reported by WINN FM on 3 January, include geothermal energy, water drilling, and hospital development. As of 4 January, the published addresses name no developer, no contractor, no lender, and no financing institution for any listed project. The published accounts do not state whether any of the three projects is financed by the Nevis Island Administration, by the federal government, by a transfer or guarantee between them, or by an external party. As of 4 January, no statement from the federal Ministry of Finance on any transfer or guarantee for a Nevis project in this period appears in the record, and no statement from the Nevis Electricity Company on the geothermal project appears in the record. A financing source, where one exists, would ordinarily appear in the NIA Estimates, in Nevis Island Assembly records, or in a lender or developer announcement. None of these appears in the record for any of the three projects as of 4 January.
