Justice ministry runs four-day diversionary caution training

Recorded

The Federal Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, with the UNDP PACE Justice Project and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, conducted a four-day training on the Diversionary Caution System from 13 to 16 July at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel. The first phase engaged about 60 police officers; the second brought together about 50 participants from the Judiciary, prosecutors, the legal profession and other institutions. Attorney General Garth Wilkin said the reform "is not about excusing offending."
